TYGRIS Heavy Duty Adhesive 500 ml

TYGRIS Heavy Duty Adhesive is an easy to use adhesive for bonding most surfaces including textile, foam, rubber, plastic, foil, cardboard and paper. Good for fixing down carpets, underlay and floor tiles. In a non-chlorinated form for maximum safety.

Consult the safety data sheet prior to use - suitable Personal Protection Equipment should be worn. Use in a well ventilated area. Shake well before use. Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust and grease. Hold the aerosol at approximately 6” - 8” and 70°C to the surface. Apply a uniform coat of adhesive to one or both surfaces, ensuring 80-100% coverage. On porous surfaces, it may be necessary to apply a second coat. For one-way application, let adhesive dry for 30 seconds until tacky and then press into position.

For two-way application, spray both surfaces and allow to dry for 2 - 5 minutes before bonding. For temporary bonding, spray one surface and allow to dry for 2 - 5 minutes before bonding. To prevent the spray nozzle from blocking, at the end of each period of use, turn the can upside down and press nozzle until spray is clear of adhesive. Excess adhesive can be removed with a suitable solvent cleaner such as white spirit. TYGRIS Heavy Duty dries in two to five minutes under normal conditions. Dispose of used aerosols in line with local and national regulations.
